Each cartridge uses bonded Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) to deliver over 30,000 gallons of capacity at 4 gpm with a nominal 10-micron filtration rating. The high porosity design helps prevent the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, so you get full value from every filter.A protective outer wrap traps sediment that would otherwise clog the carbon block, extending cartridge life between replacements. With only 1.0 psi initial pressure drop at 4 gpm, your household water pressure stays strong. Operating temperature range is 40-180 degrees F. Polypropylene endcaps and Buna-N gaskets ensure a secure, leak-free seal.This 4-pack fits any standard 20' x 4.5' Big Blue housing and replaces any 20' x 4.5' carbon filter cartridge.
